Now, with continued growth across the UK — both organically and through acquisition — they’re looking for a Head of Finance to lead the Wales division. It’s a role for someone who thrives on pace, accountability and ownership. Someone who brings structure and clarity, but also the energy to keep things moving forward.
Based in Swansea, you’ll be the divisional finance lead, partnering the Managing Director and senior leadership team to drive performance, improve insight and strengthen financial control. You’ll lead a team of finance business partners and management accountants, shaping how finance supports everyday operations and long‑term planning across Wales.
It’s a visible, high‑impact role where you’ll influence decisions, challenge constructively and help the division achieve its goals — all within a modern, values‑led organisation.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead finance for the Wales division — partnering the Managing Director on performance, growth and decision‑making.
- Deliver accurate, insightful management reporting and build financial understanding across operational teams.
- Drive revenue, cost control and operational accountability to help achieve divisional EBITDA targets.
- Strengthen financial controls, ensure cashflow is well‑managed and support the day‑five month‑end close journey.
- Lead, support and develop a growing team of business partners and management accountants.
- Play a key role in embedding Net Suite and improving processes, reporting and ways of working across the division.
What you’ll bring
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with clear management accounting and business partnering experience.
- Proven team leader who develops people and builds high‑performing teams.
- Confident relationship builder who influences at all levels.
- Skilled at turning financial information into clear, actionable insight.
- A track record of improving processes, controls and operational understanding.
- Experience in multi‑site, service‑led businesses (healthcare, education, hospitality, retail) would be ideal.
Why this opportunity
- Join a values‑led organisation recognised nationally for culture and wellbeing.
- Be the senior finance lead for the Wales division with real visibility and influence.
- Shape reporting, insight, controls and performance across a high‑growth region.
- Be part of a modern finance function investing in technology, people and improvement.
- Work with an experienced, grounded Group Finance Director and collaborative leadership team.
- Great benefits including private healthcare, 10% bonus, EV scheme and enhanced holiday.
If you’re a finance leader who thrives on partnering closely with operations — someone who brings structure, pace and genuine impact — this is an opportunity to shape a growing business.
