Award-winning Multi-National Tier 1 Contractor is seeking a driven, and ambitious individual to join their Technical Service Team at the Head Office in Swindon. The company has offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, employing over 55,000 people with a turnover of £25bn per annum.

The successful candidate will be:

• Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering / HND
• Have a minimum of 24 months design experience in a similar role on projects including Rail, Highways, or Major structures
• Demonstrate proactive improvements and alternative solutions using efficient and cost-effective measures
• Possess knowledge of various forms of Temporary Works, project programming, and Civil Engineering construction such as reinforced structures and earthworks

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the process, resolution, and communication of all design queries within the project
• Produce and check temporary works designs as required
• Develop design risk assessments and method statements
• Review suppliers’ risk assessments and method statements
• Explain works preparations to project management
• Raise requests for further information
• Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors for additional information
• Specify and monitor temporary works schemes
• Produce outline Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
• Ensure high standards of work production with robust checking procedures
