The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, providing expert planning advice, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You will be working closely with colleagues in a collaborative environment while also taking ownership of your own caseload.
You will be leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring high-quality outputs, while mentoring and supporting more junior team members. This is a role that combines autonomy with collaboration, giving you the chance to grow professionally and influence the direction of key schemes.
Skills and Experience
You will bring:

· MRTPI qualification (or working towards it).

· Strong experience in development management, planning policy, or private sector planning.

· Proven ability to manage projects independently and provide expert advice.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills.

· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for planning.
