My client is an independent national Planning consultancy, and they are looking for a Senior Planner to join their team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career and assist in the delivery of exceptional planning services, across various sectors, including education, energy, health, residential, retail, and major mixed‑use and regeneration schemes.

• Lead and manage planning applications and appeals
• Provide expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders
• Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies
• Liaise with local authorities and other regulatory bodies
• Mentor junior planners and support staff development

• Degree in Town Planning or a related field
• Chartered member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI)
• Significant experience in a planning role
• Excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation and procedures
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
