Registered Care Home Manager – New Specialist Autism Service – Swindon

We are proud to announce the opening of a new, bespoke registered residential service in Swindon, designed to support adults who are autistic and have complex learning disabilities. As our Home Manager, you will play a vital role in launching and leading a high‑quality, person‑centred service that truly makes a difference.
About the ServiceOur new residential setting will provide specialist, 24‑hour support for individuals who are autistic and have complex behavioural needs, focusing on positive behavioural support (PBS), structure, and meaningful outcomes. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something from day one – shaping the culture, building your own team, and setting the standard for excellence.
About YouWe’re looking for a dynamic and compassionate leader with a strong background in supporting people who are autistic and have learning disabilities. You’ll have a passion for quality, compliance, and person‑led care.
Qualifications & Experience- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a managerial role within a learning disability/Autism service
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management in Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and experience achieving ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ ratings
- Skilled in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), risk management, and safeguarding
- Proven ability to lead, inspire and develop staff teams
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills
- Experience opening a new service
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience of working with PBM or similar
