Day to day you'll Ensure building systems (HVAC, fire alarms, electrical, plumbing) are compliant and operational Maintain accurate records, asset registers and safety documentation, report R.I.D.D.O.R.
-reportable incidents within required time frames Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and building regulations Line manage the Health & Safety Co-ordinator, Maintenance Technician and Housekeeping Supervisor Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and value for money Manage the maintenance budget and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency You'll be someone with proven experience managing facilities or maintenance across multiple sites and have a strong knowledge of building services, property maintenance and health & safety compliance.
Essentially, you'll hold NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent. It's important that you are a confident communicator with excellent organisation and planning skills and have experience leading teams and managing contractors. This role will also involve travel to our other site in Swindon and also across our stores, so you'll hold a full UK driving licence and have a willingness to travel.
