Registered Manager – Autism Residential Service
Location:
Swindon
Salary: £38,911 per annum
We are excited to recruit a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead our brand-new residential service supporting adults with autism and complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity to shape a service from the ground up — establishing a positive culture, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring exceptional support for the people who live with us.
We welcome applications from experienced Registered Managers or ambitious Deputy Managers who are ready to step up into their first registration — providing they have strong residential care experience and knowledge of CQC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and inspire staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
Oversee the daily running of the service and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
Create a safe, empowering environment where individuals can thrive and build independence.
Manage recruitment, training, and performance of team members.
Ensure robust safeguarding practices and positive risk management.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and audit systems.
Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and external agencies to achieve best outcomes.
About You
Previous leadership experience within an adult residential home is essential.
Strong understanding of autism, positive behaviour support, and personalised care practices.
Confident managing people, performance, and operational processes.
Skilled in building effective relationships and leading with a compassionate, inclusive approach.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards).
