Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 over 7 days
Shift Times: Between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM (e.g. 06:00–14:00 / 08:00–16:00)
Salary: £14.00 per hour (£27,393.45 per annum)

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commis Chef to join our culinary team at Great Western Hospital. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety standards.

• Preparing food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service
• Completing food safety and health & safety documentation
• Labelling food in accordance with PPDS regulations
• Supporting the Head Chef and assisting porters with deliveries
• Maintaining cleanliness in the working area

• Experience in food safety and kitchen preparation
• Level 2 Food Hygiene training or equivalent
• Knowledge of allergen management and labelling standards

Additional Info:
The chef team finishes by 4:00 PM daily. Food service runs from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
