Senior Accountant (m/w/d) in an International Environment

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactiveSenior Accountantto support our finance team in managing daily, weekly, and monthly financial processes for our international subsidiaries.

Primary responsibilities:

• Manage accounting for sales subsidiaries, including:
• General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, monthly and annual closings, ad-hoc reports, and budgets
• Tracking and reconciling intercompany balances and coordinating settlements in collaboration with global accounting
• Take ownership of the monthly and annual closing processes for our international subsidiaries
• Coordinate with local accountants, tax advisors, and auditors

Secondary responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for international subsidiaries (Swiss GAAP FER)
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least five years of experience in an international group environment (accounting/reporting)
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage or Business Central is a plus)
• Strong Excel and data organization skills
• Familiarity with intercompany and multi-entity environments
• Solid understanding of Swiss GAAP FER and/or German GAAP
• Excellent English skills;
  German is a plus
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
