Lonza is hiring a Senior Utilities Operations Expert to join the Facility Management Utilities (FMU) team at its Visp, Switzerland site. The role focuses on coordinating and leading cross‑functional projects in the Utilities sector and supporting the optimization of infrastructure systems across various operational areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage large‑scale operational projects in Utilities.
• Support the FMU team with troubleshooting and take responsibility for assigned issues.
• Optimize utility systems in areas MC1, MC2, I10, I11, and I12.
• Create project overviews, including scheduling for assigned projects.
• Lead cross‑building projects from an operational perspective.
• Support the Utilities Ops Team during handover and startup phases to ensure smooth project transitions and proper facility functionality.

Key Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Experience with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice).
• In‑depth knowledge of Clean and Black Utilities as well as HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
• Risk management:

• IT skills: proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Office, SAP).
• Problem‑solving ability: analytical mindset and efficiency in resolving complex issues.
