Full‑time, Mid‑Senior level

• Thermal process safety and explosion protection: own results from process safety laboratory and SGU reports, continuously revise explosion protection documents, organise recurring trainings, participate in risk analyses, provide operational consulting and draft internal policies and procedures.
• Project support: evaluate projects in early phases for chemical potential, verify safety‑critical data, arrange further measurements, assess thermal risks and explosion hazards, develop protection measures and safe working and process conditions.
• Conduct audits, safety rounds and incident investigations.
• Continuous training and development.
• Act as deputy for SGU colleagues.
• Respond to customers and suppliers on thermal process safety and explosion protection issues.

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the chemical industry, preferably in production, laboratory or SGU.
• Master’s or PhD in chemistry or related field.
• German and English written and spoken fluency.
• Capability to set and achieve individual and team objectives that support company strategy.
• Professional and effective management of internal and external customer relationships.
