• Ensure that operational activities for clinical and/or commercial manufacturing are performed on‑time and within given safety and quality standards.
• Act as the functional lead for preparation, manufacturing execution, cleaning and changeover in the assigned area.
• Lead one or more defined USP areas (e.g., seed train, main cultivation or harvest) for the production of therapeutic proteins using mammalian expression systems.
• Be in charge of one or more defined DSP areas (e.g., gain, polishing or filling) for the purification of therapeutic proteins from mammalian expression systems.

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or a related Life Science subject, or a Bachelor’s holder with experience in pharma production.
• Knowledge in either USP (e.g., bioreactors) or DSP units (e.g., chromatography).
• Several years of biomanufacturing experience.
• GMP experience and a strong understanding of bioprocess technology.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
  German skills are an advantage.
