GE Vernova is experiencing hypergrowth and is scaling up our teams to drive the energy transition in Europe. The Power Transmission business line in Oberentfelden focuses on innovative metal‑encapsulated, gas‑insulated high‑voltage switch gear.

Your Mission
:
Ensure the safe and efficient installation, supervision, and handover of onshore and offshore Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS) while adhering to technical standards, EHS regulations, and maintaining clear communication with clients, contractors, and project managers.

• Primary and secondary installation of Onshore and Offshore Gas Insulated Switchgears according to standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Read and understand technical drawings; follow and amend standard work procedures for GIS installation.
• Basic knowledge of Local Control Cubicles (LCC).
• Supervise manpower, equipment, and tools on the construction site.
• Operate and use tools and equipment (electrical, mechanical, and testing).
• Comply with company values, internal environmental, health and safety regulations (EHS), and relevant organizational processes of the management system.
• Handover the installed GIS to the client.
• Communicate with client and contractor during the installation.
• Weekly reporting to the site coordinator and project manager about progress and status.

• Must be an EU citizen and eligible to work in the EU and US.
• Electro‑mechanic or similar technical training.
• Practical knowledge of electrical, mechanical and testing equipment.
• Capability and flexibility to work at remote sites (domestically and internationally) in adverse weather conditions.
• Readiness to work on offshore platforms and wind modules.
• Negotiation skills.
• Leadership skills.
• Fluent in English, good knowledge of German.
