Laboratory Technician in Physics

As Laboratory Technician in Physics 100%, you will be s upport ing innovation engineers and you will be involved in experimental design, data collection and interpretation. You will support the design, mounting , operation of testing setups and quality control.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn, Switzerland

What is the role?

• Support innovation engineers in their projects for industrial water purification and water quality monitoring
• You will be involved in experimental design, data collection and interpretation
• Support the design, mounting and operation of testing setups
• All kind of physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustics, etc. to be part of the scope of work. Support our Quality Control activities
• Contact with international suppliers and customers
• Establish analytical reports

Does this sound like you?

• Laboratory Technician Degree (CFC) or equivalent in physics, bachelor in physical measurements with previous industrial experience
• Senior level in MS Office tools
• Previous experience in Quality Control is a plus
• Self-driven personality, creative, and able to work under pressure
• Hands-on mentality and a sense of ownership and responsibility
• Strong communication skills and a good team oriented working capability
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment
• Willing to travel internationally (occasionally; up to 10 %)
• Speak and write fluent English, German and/or French language is an added value
• You are an EU or Swiss citizen or have a valid working permit for Switzerland
