We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our teams in Switzerland, Visp and support the planning, development, and execution of technical investment projects with direct impact on production performance and business results.

• Lead and manage small to medium-sized investment projects from concept definition through execution, ensuring compliance with cost, timeline, and functional requirements, with a strong impact on ongoing production and operational efficiency.
• Act as Project Lead for technical projects, coordinating all engineering activities and serving as the primary technical interface for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Perform process engineering calculations, plant optimizations, and technical assessments to improve performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new production plants and for the modification or rebuilding of existing installations, including technical concepts, cost estimations, project scheduling, and functional evaluations.
• Plan, realize, and support production adjustments and new product launches, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations.
• Develop and compare technical solution concepts, clearly outlining advantages, disadvantages, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision‑making.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external resources, including engineering disciplines, suppliers, and contractors, to ensure professional and timely project execution.
• Oversee procurement activities related to project execution, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, budget constraints, and quality requirements.
• Drive process optimization initiatives, including the implementation of improved process flows and sustainable technical solutions.
• Ensure effective knowledge transfer and documentation, promoting best practices and continuous improvement within the organization.

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Bioengineering; a Master’s degree is considered an asset.
• Proven experience in technical project management within an industrial, manufacturing, or Life Sciences environment.
• Strong ability to apply professional engineering knowledge in day-to-day project execution and decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across multidisciplinary and matrix organizations.
• Highly independent, structured, and solution‑oriented working style.
• Advanced written and spoken English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, particularly in matrix or cross‑functional environments.
• Innovative mindset with strong analytical skills and excellent contextual understanding.
• High level of motivation, commitment, and ownership of project outcomes.
