Senior Mechanical System Engineer – Powerplant Systems

Contract: Permanent contract, full-time position

Salary: It will be discussed during the recruiting process, taking into consideration seniority and responsibilities within the activity.

We support clients all over Switzerland, Europe, and the USA, offering innovation, technology, and engineering R&D.

• Provide engineering support for propeller and hub-related mechanical systems within advanced aircraft power plant architectures.
• Capture, analyse, and validate system requirements, ensuring the production of clear and structured technical documentation.
• Demonstrate system compliance with applicable airworthiness and certification standards (FAR / EASA CS-23).
• Develop system-level test plans, test procedures, and certification reports for submission to certification authorities.
• Technically coordinate and monitor supplier development activities related to assigned systems and components.
• Support aircraft and propulsion system ground and flight test campaigns, including international travel when required.

• University degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum of eight years of experience in aerospace mechanical systems within development, integration, and certification environments.
• Proven experience in systems engineering activities related to one or more aircraft systems.
• Knowledge of power plant or propulsion system integration is considered an advantage.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities in parallel.
• Fluent English skills (C1 level); knowledge of German is considered a plus.
