We safely power your flight. As a Quality Inspector
, you will inspect engines, modules, and piece parts during and after the disassembly process, ensuring that all reused parts are serviceable and that unacceptable findings are corrected. You will ensure a flawless quality and act as the first interface between SR Technics engine maintenance services and the customer.
- Perform technical inspection and assessment of aircraft engine assemblies (PW4000) on schedule and according to OEM specifications and engineering orders
- Create repair orders for engines, modules, and piece parts
- Check modifications carried out on individual parts and assemblies
- Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis)
- Handle operating materials (resources) in an environmentally conscious manner
- Work independently and think and act economically
- Completed apprenticeship as Polymechanic EFZ or equivalent mechanical qualification
- Self-motivated with a precise and accountable work approach
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Resilient under pressure and adaptable to changing demands
- Proficient in MS Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
- Good German and English skills (B1 level or higher)
- Flexibility to work in a two-shift system
