Job Description
Full-time night-shift custodial position 3:00 p.m.
- 11:30 p.m., five days a week, Monday - Friday. Shift hours may vary during school breaks and over the summer.
This position is responsible for keeping his/her assigned area(s) or building(s) clean, safe, functional and secure in accordance with prescribed and established district policies and standards. The custodian must maintain all assigned areas in a state of operational excellence so that they present no interruptions, distractions or obstacles to the educational program.

ADA REQUIREMENTS
Language: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, training manuals, and instructions.
Physical Demands: Is regularly required to stand, move about, hear, and speak. Must have close, moderate, and distance vision ability. Must continuously use hand and finger strength to grasp tools and climb ladders. Must be able to communicate in noisy environments such as construction sites and over machine noise. Must be able to frequently stoop, squat, reach, climb, bend, kneel, and push/pull objects such as desks, tables, bleachers, and scrubbing machines.
Must be able to lift or move 50-75 pounds on a regular and recurring basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis.
Attendance: Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
