Production Quality Inspector (CDD 12 months)
Location:
Satigny (Geneva). Sécheron Hasler Group, a global leader in high‑power electrical and electronic equipment, seeks a dynamic and motivated Production Quality Inspector for a 12‑month CDD contract, with the possibility of extension or future integration into Sécheron SA.
As part of the Electrical Safety Solutions unit, you will protect critical infrastructure through quality control of finished goods and direct sales. Your work safeguards lives and powers progress.
Responsibilities- Act as an autonomous quality decision maker, ensuring output meets defined specifications.
- Inspect finished goods and direct sales, detect gaps, and release conforming products in the ERP system.
- Stop non‑conforming items, initiate rework, and report non‑conformities in the system.
- Report daily workload and priorities to Island Leader.
- Participate in daily 5‑minute production meetings to communicate issues and request immediate countermeasures.
- Provide on‑call support during working hours, listen to non‑conformities, identify defects, and decide on quality sufficiency.
- Perform in‑process inspections along the production line when applicable.
- Teach operators and testers the required quality level and reinforce positive feedback.
- Work within QMS processes, contribute to improvements, and maintain ISO
9001, IRIS ISO
22163, ISO
45001, and ISO
14001 certifications. - Escalate issues to the QHSE manager and others with authority to stop production lines if client requirements or HSE risks are identified.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or technical certification in electrical or mechanical fields is a plus.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in electrical assembly or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
