Manufacturing Specialist (m/f/d)

What You Will Do
  • Perform manufacturing activities in the Downstream Processing area according to cGMP guidelines
  • Ensure batch execution, evaluate test results, resolve issues and troubleshoot manufacturing; provide recommendations for resolution
  • Follow strict guidelines of SHE (Safety, Health, Environment), EM (Environmental Monitoring), operation and cleaning within the production area
  • Advise on continuous process improvement projects within the production area
  • Advise on document preparation (e.g. electronic batch records, SOPs) specific to the assigned production area
  • Act as a technical reference for other shift team members on the production area
  • Responsible for the continuous training of the manufacturing staff on specific equipment or standard operations
What We Are Looking For
  • Completed chemical / biopharmaceutical education or corresponding training qualification;
    Bachelor / Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering or related fields is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of biotechnological processes in the area of mammalian protein purification (DSP)
  • Strong communication skills, collaborative great teammate, motivated and passionate about finding solutions
  • Fluency in English required; fluency in German is considered a plus
  • Open to work in shift (4-shift system)
  • Very good GMP understanding required
