Senior Specialist, QC Project Lead

Our client is seeking a Senior Specialist, QC Project Lead for their Visp site. In this position, you will act as the primary point of contact for Quality Control (QC) within cross‑functional project teams, ensuring alignment across departments such as QA, Operations, MSAT, and Engineering. You will represent QC independently, make key decisions, and maintain close collaboration with analytical laboratories, program management, process development, production, and quality assurance.

Strong project planning and management skills will be essential to deliver timely and cost‑efficient results in a dynamic environment with evolving customer priorities.

• Serve as the QC representative in cross‑functional project teams.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Prepare and oversee production campaigns.
• Manage change requests and deviations in compliance with GMP standards.
• Coordinate and support customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Calculate and monitor QC‑related project costs.
• Independently prioritize, coordinate, and schedule QC tasks to meet project timelines.

• Master’s or PhD in natural sciences (biology, biochemistry, or pharmaceuticals).
• Experience in a GMP environment and familiarity with quality control processes.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with pharmaceutical/laboratory software (e.g., Documentum, LIMS, Trackwise) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
• Team‑oriented mindset with efficient and cooperative communication style.
• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure.
