This is a one-year fixed-term contract which may be extended to 3 years (funded by SNF).
Lab Description
:
The Pharmacology Unit of the Faculty of Science and Medicine at the University of Fribourg investigates molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying metabolic and redox signaling in health and disease. The Zuhra Group focuses on the biology of endogenously produced cyanide, exploring its role as a novel gasotransmitter and its impact on cellular metabolism and cell signaling.

- Experienced and motivated laboratory technician to support our research program
- Diploma (BSc/MSc or equivalent) in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related field
- Proven experience with basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques
- Experience to work in vivo (mice) model would be considered a plus
- Strong sense of organization, precision, and reliability
- Good written and spoken English skills. Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
