The Central Laboratory offers a wide range of analytical methods and provides precise data for the research units. We are looking for a

Technical Staff Member or Analytical Chemist 60-80% (f / m / d)

In this role, you will make a significant contribution to ensuring reliable and high-quality laboratory operations at WSL’s central laboratory. You will support the research units by providing precise analyses of soil, plant, and water samples. Your work will make an important contribution to the quality and reproducibility of scientific results. Your tasks will include professional sample processing, the development and optimization of analytical methods, and careful documentation in accordance with ISO 17025.

You will ensure compliance with quality standards and support the team in the further development of efficient laboratory processes.

You have completed an apprenticeship (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Assistant EFZ) or hold an equivalent qualification, and you bring several years of practical experience in analytical chemistry, ideally with experience in developing and refining analytical techniques. You approach your work in a structured and quality-focused manner and are familiar with research-oriented laboratory processes. You have a good command of German and are an enthusiastic, team-oriented, and conscientious professional who values clear communication and enjoys working in an analytical laboratory.
