Fine Dining Food & Beverage Trainee (m/w/d) – Mandarin Oriental Palace Luzern

Mandarin Oriental Palace Luzern is looking for a Fine Dining Food & Beverage Trainee for our 2 Star Michelin Restaurant Colonnade. Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, within the Colonnade department, the F&B Trainee is responsible for ensuring a smooth operation within our Fine Dining Restaurant, anticipating our guests’ needs and having full knowledge of the menu and seasonal offerings.

• Serving food and drinks professionally
• Complying with high-quality service standards
• Supporting the supervisors in their daily tasks
• Providing the necessary Mise en Place
• Setting up and cleaning the restaurant
• Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines

• Open-mindedness and delight in dealing with guests
• A strong sense of service and service-mindedness
• Ability to work in a team and guest-oriented personality
• Good communication skills
• Excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure – weekend and holiday shifts required
• Very good knowledge of English and very good basic German skills
