We are looking for a Founding Mobile Engineer to join us in building and scaling Bloom’s mobile app — starting with iOS and soon expanding to Android. You’ll take ownership of our mobile experience, push the boundaries of what React Native + Expo can do, and lay the foundation for Bloom’s app to reach millions of users. Bloom is a YC X25 startup making app development as easy as talking into your phone.

About You

• You are a fast learner with an open mind.
• You love solving complex technical problems.
• You can clearly explain and communicate complex ideas to others.
• You have extensive experience building mobile apps with React Native.
• You have strong experience with Expo + EAS.
• You are very familiar with Typescript.
• You have worked with Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin (both is a big bonus).

• You have worked with Convex.
• You’ve worked at a YC startup before or founded a startup yourself.
• You’ve already built something with Bloom.
