Job Description Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) at GE Vernova, you will play a key role in advancing innovative technologies within the power engineering sector. You will contribute to the design and development of modern Windows user applications, leveraging your deep expertise in C#, .NET, and MS SQL to deliver high‑quality, high‑impact solutions. • Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Windows user applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain the codebase and refactor legacy codebases to C# and .NET.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Extensive professional experience in software engineering, demonstrating senior‑level capability.
• Extensive experience developing Windows user applications.
• Experience working in a matrix hierarchical environment.

• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL and Git.
• Basic knowledge of power transformers is an advantage.
• Experience with FORTRAN and Visual Basic is an advantage.
• Experience working with different ERP systems is an advantage.

• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
