• Provide consultancy support for hard FM services, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), HVAC, BMS, fire & life safety systems
- I should have in-depth knowledge of STP banks with capacities of over 10M3 in an hour
• Conduct condition surveys, asset audits, and compliance assessments across facilities.
• Develop asset registers, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, and lifecycle replacement plans.
• Advise clients on statutory compliance, including health & safety, building regulations, and local authority requirements.
Service Delivery & Performance checks and evaluation• Support the procurement, mobilization, and management of hard FM service providers.
- Review contractor performance against SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations.
- Review the productivity of operatives and labor to ensure efficient working. Minimize client and customer complaints aiming to achieve 100% client and customer satisfaction in providing a quality service completing all jobs first time and as the SLA.
- The regular monitoring and reporting of service delivery.
- Attend Client / progress meetings align the service providers.
- Achieve the Service Level Agreement performance as required to avoid penalties and deliver a first class service.
- The implementation of the project safety plan, company safety policies & procedures and ensure continuing compliance.
- Ensuring all activities are undertaken safely, in accordance with company's policies and procedures and a culture of health and safety is encouraged.
- The monitoring the safety performance of the site through periodical review meetings.
- Rectification of any unsafe conditions noticed during inspections.
- Ensuring that all employees, subcontractors and third parties (resident or visiting) comply with the company safety policy and the local safety regulations.
- Investigate and action accidents, incidents and non-compliance.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings and service improvement.
• Support CAFM and asset management system implementation and optimization.
Compliance & Risk Management• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g. electrical safety, gas safety, fire safety, pressure systems).
• Support risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems.
• Provide technical input for business continuity and critical systems resilience planning.
Strategic & Commercial• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning for hard services.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender documentation, and evaluation reports.
• Provide lifecycle costing, whole-life cost analysis, and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
• Contribute to sustainability, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction initiatives.
Stakeholder Management• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Present findings, reports, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support client relationship management and new business opportunities.
• Strong technical knowledge of hard FM disciplines (MEP, HVAC, building services for the specific site exhaustive primary utilities in-depth knowledge in terms of STP station working and trouble shooting is required.
Specific knowledge for the Captive power plants with Generators banks operations and maintenance.
• Sound understanding of statutory compliance and FM best practice.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Commercial awareness and cost-control mindset.
Qualifications & Experience• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15-18 years' experience in hard facilities management or technical consultancy.
• Professional membership or working towards membership (e.g. IWFM, CIBSE, IET, RICS) is desirable.
• Knowledge of CAFM, CMMS, and asset management systems.
