Responsibilities- Lead complete MEP scope for large-scale data center and infrastructure projects, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and fire protection of various facilities including Data Center, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System), Hydrogen Gas Turbine generators, GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) Substation, Sea Water Cooling System, Offsite Cabling, Grid Substation Extension Modification, and Hydrogen Plant.
- Lead the pre-construction phase, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) selection and onboarding process.
- Own the comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for MEP packages and works.
- Working with the Project Company team to ensure that all invoicing and payment up to date.
- Support, and report on, the change management process on selected projects, and put in place effective protocols to support successful delivery;
- Have detailed knowledge and experience of project management processes, including a clear understanding Design development, as defined under LOD
100 to 500; - For MEP scope, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to fast-track schedules.
- Monitor progress and performance of EPC contractors/ MEP contractors to ensure adherence to project timelines and compliance
- Manage EPC contractors/ MEP contractors for installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and milestones.
- Coordinate with architecture, CSA, IT, and utility providers for seamless integration.
- Ensure all MEP systems are operational, optimized, and meet commissioning requirements.
- Oversee the handover process, ensuring all facilities are operational and meet project specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
Master's preferred. - At least 20 Years in MEP design, construction, and management for large-scale projects and extensive experience in project management, particularly in large Data center.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects with multiple facilities and in fast-track execution and commissioning of complex systems.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to safety, quality, and environmental compliance especially related to KSA.
