Lead HV Protection Engineer – Renewable Transmission Grid

Location & Project Context

North West Saudi Arabia – Vision 2030 Renewable Energy Project

Purpose:

Design, configure and maintain protection systems for HV transmission assets to ensure safe and selective fault clearance.

• Develop and validate relay settings; oversee testing and commissioning.
• Investigate protection operations; conduct event analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate with operations for safe switching and system changes.
• Update protection schemes and documentation in line with standards.
• Support outages and grid compliance activities.
• Ensure HSE compliance across field and control-room activities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10 years’ experience in HV/EHV protection engineering.
• Proficiency with modern protection relays, test sets and analysis tools.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

• Permanent relocation to North West Saudi Arabia.
