Spa Therapist - Six Senses Southern Dunes

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests on arrival and conduct check in and registration procedures efficiently and friendly, using guest names whenever possible.
  • Perform spa menu treatments as per Six Senses Spas standards.
  • Recommend treatment and products based on lifestyle consultation form and assessment questions to guests.
  • Adapt to specific guest needs following LQA and our protocols.
  • Ensure treatment rooms have enough supplies at all times according to standards.
  • Request and log stock of supplies necessary for the treatment rooms.
  • Set up the treatment rooms as per standards.
  • Serve the welcome drink or other menu offerings to the guests when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the Spa and treatment rooms.
  • Maintain the equipment I use in safe conditions.
  • Handle guest complaints and record all guest comments.
  • Log all product recommendations to guests.
  • Fill in documents / controls / reports for duty (stocks, daily logbook if any, lost & found, guest comments).
  • Achieve individual and group targets in sales and promote upselling of spa treatments, products, packages, special promotions and Visiting Experts Calendar.
  • Carry out stock count for both retail and professional stock when required.
  • Monitor usage of products.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene.
  • Knowledge of all safety, security and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
  • Ensure the privacy of guests, partners and residential owners, applying an extra level of protection to any sensitive personal data and using confidential information only to perform my job.
  • Maintain efficient administration within the department preparing and submitting operational reports.
  • Ensure all equipment of the department is kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Upsell all property facilities and activities.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
  • Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.
  • Perform any additional tasks given by supervisor/management.
