Senior Operating Supervisor

This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and compliant operational activities within the department. The role involves supervising daily operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, ensuring inventory accuracy, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to support uninterrupted production and quality standards.

• Follow approved departmental SOPs for all operational activities.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and GDP guidelines.
• Follow and enforce all safety precautions at the workplace.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy at all times.
• Ensure proper housekeeping standards in the assigned area.
• Perform stock adjustments for shortages or overages within defined timelines.
• Review and verify MIS reports and all area-related logbooks.
• Ensure timely posting of rejected materials.
• Print and file Newtronic chamber reports on a daily basis.
• Check EMS sensors daily as per SOP and generate monthly reports.
• Inform superiors immediately in case of any excursion or deviation.
• Coordinate with QC/QA for retesting, expired, and near-expiry materials.
• Update material locations in SAP using handheld devices, as required.
• Ensure all SAP postings and location updates are accurate and timely.
• Arrange material transfer to production as per daily production plans.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory counts.
• Review raw material expiry and near-expiry status monthly and share reports with QC.
• Perform verification and recording of material balances.
• Ensure all logbooks are updated and documents are properly filed.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working hours and responsibilities as per operational needs.
• Carry out tasks as instructed by senior management.

• Diploma in any scientific discipline.
• Diploma in Pharmacy or Engineering will be preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
