The Role

You’ll build and manage our portfolio of iconic, ground‑breaking brands, helping us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.

Key Accountabilities
  • Develop and deploy our category vision and strategy based on a deep understanding of key growth drivers in categories, channels, and clients, shopper insights, and additional sources of growth.
  • Lead joint category development processes with key customers, building relationships with key decision makers and helping them achieve category growth.
  • Lead the creation and delivery of category plans for channels and specified customers based on the DPSM (distribution, pricing, shelving, merchandising) approach.
  • Develop and deploy a commercial strategy based on revenue management, strategic pricing, category expansion, and channel portfolio optimisation; agree top‑down annual budgets by category and customer in line with financial and brand objectives.
  • Develop an RGM methodology to identify net realised revenue (NRR) and profitable growth opportunities by lever, including:
    • Pricing
    • Price Pack Architecture
    • Mix management (portfolio and channel/customer)
    • Gross to Net (trade spend and investment optimisation)
    • Commercial policy (trade terms)
  • Support the commercial team in using the ROI calculator.
  • Support the sales team in promo validation (review promo proposals vs sell‑out plan).
  • Develop and deploy trade investment and promo strategy through implementation of the Trade Marketing calendar.
  • Partner with cross‑function teams to deliver the category and commercial strategy.

  • Sales acumen and category process understanding.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to present recommendations in an influential manner.
  • Solid understanding of retail business.
  • Knowledge of Nielsen database.
  • Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Knowledge
  • Education to degree level preferred.
  • Recent category experience.
  • Relevant experience using category and retailer data sources.
