Your Team

The Digital Product Solutions team sits at the centre of change within Fidelity International’s online business. We collaborate with Product and Propositions to ideate new or improved experiences, work closely with business SMEs to derive deep understanding of problems and opportunities, validate experiences with our in‑house user research team, and partner with Technology to deliver scalable, efficient and iterative solutions.

Your Role

As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead and execute user experience design initiatives across multiple projects and platforms used by a diverse range of clients—from pension‑access consumers to ISA opening and investment professionals. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver intuitive, engaging, and user‑centred designs that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the UX design process from concept to implementation, ensuring user‑centric solutions are delivered.
  • Work with the user‑research team to conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs that communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and business goals.
  • Advocate for best practices in UX design and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to foster professional growth.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in UX design to ensure our solutions remain cutting‑edge.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects, particularly within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Axure, Figma, or similar.
  • Excellent understanding of user‑centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, translating complex concepts into intuitive designs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
