This position supervises the technical members of the information security support group at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. The incumbent serves as FDLE's Information Security Manager, administering the Information Security Program and managing security initiatives related to data and IT resources. Responsibilities include developing strategic and operational security plans, maintaining security policies and procedures, responding to cyber incidents, and overseeing technical security tools.
Keyqualifications:
- At least five years of information technology experience in networking support, information security, server configuration and maintenance or desktop support
- Working knowledge of operating systems and telecommunications concepts
- Knowledge and experience with information security tools, services, and systems including incident response and vulnerability assessment
- Knowledge of networking protocols and network security methodologies
- Working knowledge of O365 applications and NIST CSF controls
- Ability to develop, test and evaluate security controls
