Bench Joiner

Position: Bench Joiner (Permanent)
We’re hiring for a Bench Hand Joiner to join a specialist joinery manufacturer based in Hyde.

You’ll be producing bespoke joinery pieces from approved drawings, ensuring every project meets the company’s high standards for quality and finish.

What’s on offer?

* Up to £18 per hour

* Monday – Friday | 8am – 4:30pm

* Overtime available (paid at 1.5x)

* 20 days holiday + bank holidays

* Christmas shutdown

What will you be doing as a Bench Joiner?

* Reading and working from approved drawings to complete manufacture and fit

* Working to set timescales while maintaining high quality standards

* Checking and using materials in line with production checklists and purchase orders

* Completing daily timesheets and job cards at each stage of production

* Inspecting quality throughout the manufacturing and installation process

* Preparing site packs and attending pre-site meetings to review requirements

* Reading and signing risk and method statements before starting site work

What we’re looking for

* Proven experience in joinery or bench hand manufacturing

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
