Are you a CAD/CAM Programmer with a background in offline/online programming or similar, seeking a days-based position with an early Friday finish and the chance to substantially boost your earnings through overtime?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established precision engineering manufacturer producing high-tolerance metal components for the rail, defence, and industrial sectors. The company forms part of a larger engineering group, benefiting from a strong pipeline of work and continued investment in state-of-the-art machinery.

The role is largely programming-focused. You will utilise CAD/CAM software such as CIMCO or Fusion 360 to program CNC machinery. Full training will be provided on vertical and horizontal boring machines, so prior experience on these machines is not essential.

This role would suit a CAD/CAM Programmer with experience in offline/online programming or similar software, looking for a stable, days-based position within a supportive and expanding team.

THE ROLE:

* Programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software

* Operating CNC lathes, milling machines, and boring machines (Vertical/Horizontal)

* Inspecting completed components using a range of quality inspection techniques

* 37-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays

THE PERSON:

* CNC Machinist with experience on lathes or milling machines

* Experience programming CNC machines offline using Fusion 360 or similar

* Able to commute to Ashton-Under-Lyne
