A leading and successful firm of chartered accountants based in Taunton is searching for a Senior or Assistant Manager – Farming and Rural sector client to join their team. The firm has a strong reputation across the South West and wider UK, acting for a wide range of clients, including agricultural, landed estates and rural sector related clients.

Joining as Senior or Assistant Manager in the Farming and Rural sector from the firm’s Taunton office, you will take on increasing management and client portfolio responsibility for the delivery of accounts, tax and wider services to clients focused within the rural, landed estates and agricultural sector. You will develop client relationships, work on advisory tax planning and accounting/business services projects, deliver wider project work, manage a team, and support the firm’s directors.

A clear progression path is offered.

Qualified or in the process of qualifying with AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA. Experience delivering accounts, tax and general accountancy practice services in a UK accountancy practice firm environment, ideally with clients in farming and rural sectors or a demonstrable interest in this sector. Seeking a career move with a clear development and progression path.

Circa £30,000–£45,000, dependent on background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits.
