Estimating and Sales Engineer

A contract precision engineering company in Taunton is now looking for an Estimating and Sales Engineer.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work with a broad range of customers across the UK, providing technical support and commercial costing.

On a daily basis you will be talking with Engineers, Scientists, Researchers and Managers via phone and email.

Your role will be to understand customer requirements, suggest the best tailored technical solutions produce estimates / quotes.

The successful candidate will have both strong technical, and communication skills, and should be highly organised with a focus on providing excellent customer support.

Product training will be given, but an understanding of engineering / science / electronics is required.

Experience in a technical estimator or sales role within an engineering / technical / manufacturing environment is essential for this role.

Ideally you will have studied a Degree in Engineering, Science or Electronics and have experience working with customers.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK, without requiring sponsorship. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested for verification.

Candidates should have a full clean driving licence. There will be occasional travel to customer sites, suppliers, and trade shows.

Depend upon experience, up to c £38k plus benefits.
