Charity Shop Assistant Manager – Tavistock

Salary: £14,782.16 per annum (based on a full time equivalent of £24,636.93 per annum or £12.60 per hour)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week – flexible with weekends and bank holidays included

Location: Tavistock, England, United Kingdom

Duration: Permanent

• Providing cover for the Manager in their absence
• Supporting and guiding volunteers in the day-to-day running of the shop
• Stock control, sorting and rotation
• Displaying goods effectively, including creative displays and maintaining the shop's appearance
• Sorting and preparing unsaleable items for recycling or waste
• Facilitating and processing Gift Aid

We are looking for someone who is self‑motivated and has excellent interpersonal communication and customer care skills. Previous experience in retail and/or customer service is required, with good problem‑solving ability and a readiness for the ever‑changing challenge that is charity retailing.
