An established and respected planning consultancy in Devon is seeking a Town Planning Consultant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Town Planning Consultant who wants to work on a diverse range of development projects across the South West.
The successful Town Planning Consultant will play a key role in advising clients, managing planning applications, and helping to secure planning permissions through strong strategy and negotiation.
As a Town Planning Consultant, you will:

· Provide professional planning advice to private clients, landowners and developers

· Prepare, submit and manage planning applications and appeals

· Undertake planning policy analysis, site appraisals and development strategy work

· Liaise and negotiate with local planning authorities and key stakeholders

· Support the delivery of high-quality outcomes across varied project types
About You

· Experience working as a Town Planning Consultant or in a similar planning role

· Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and development management

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage your own caseload and work collaboratively within a small team

· RTPI accreditation (or working towards) is preferred
