We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to join our team.
Priory Riverview is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join their team. This is a full‑time position, available full time with evening and weekend shifts.
£13.20 per hour.
Riverview is located in the picturesque seaside town of Teignmouth, Devon. Our home offers residential support for eight autistic individuals, within a short walk of the local town and all amenities, right on the coast.
What you’ll be doingYou will be part of a compassionate team committed to our residents’ wellbeing, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
- Encourage people to live as independently as possible, supporting them in building life skills and achieving goals at their own pace.
- Support tenants in a person‑centred way, including assisting with personal care, participation in activities, and daily living skills, including maintenance of their tenancy.
- Complete daily administration of electronic and paper records with the individual's involvement as appropriate.
- Support the individual in maintaining their health and wellbeing, liaising with other specialists where needed.
- Encourage and facilitate participation and integration in the local community through activities and interests that meet ambitions and help them achieve outcomes in their chosen way.
- Embed the REACH standards in everyday practice.
- Follow company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills- Excellent interpersonal skills and resilience.

- Competent in verbal and written English.
- A social care qualification is desirable but not essential.
