Essential:
Full UK Driver’s license & have held the license for 12 months as you will be required to drive a Havencare vehicle.

Role OverviewAt Havencare, first and foremost, we are looking for outstanding people who align with our values of Transparency, Quality and Engagement. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate and enthusiastic support worker to assist three gentlemen and one female within their own home in Teignmouth and out in the community. This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in peoples’ life through meaningful engagement and support.
Our people at Hawkins have complex health and support needs, this role will require you to carry out intimate personal care. Our people have learning disabilities and autism and communication difficulties. Our people like to have planned routines and structures in place. Our people need full support with every aspect of daily lives. We need you to be a driver with clean full UK driving licence as our people will want you to drive them in the house vehicle to places /activities in the community.
- Carry out intimate personal care for residents.
- Support residents with daily living activities.
- Assist with planned routines and structures.
- Drive residents to places and activities in the community using the Havencare vehicle.
- Full UK Driver’s licence held for at least 12 months.
- Experience or willingness to support people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health and support needs.
- Good communication skills and ability to meet the needs of people with communication difficulties.
The working pattern will be discussed at interview, but you will need to be able to work every other weekend.
