We have a position available in our Telford Service Centre for an experienced Calibration Engineer. This will involve Calibration/validation/Repair of dimensional test instruments and mechanical torque tools to maintain functionality and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Both Keysight and non‑Keysight products are serviced at the Telford Service Centre.
  • Perform routine tasks using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment.
  • Solve a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity.
  • Understand customers’ requirements through face‑to‑face and written communication.
  • Travel to customer sites up to 25% performing calibrations (on‑site).
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Higher education degree or specialised training/certification in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience:

    Mechanical calibration, maintenance, and repair. Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficient in using calibration tools and software. Understanding of mechanical systems, components, and measurement principles.
  • Problem‑Solving:
    Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail:
    High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Team Player:
    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
  • Physical Requirements:

    Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in various environments.
