Your new role Are you a technically strong accountant looking to make your mark in industry? Our client, a dynamic and fast-growing business based in Shropshire, is seeking a talented Senior Management Accountant/ Financial Controller to lead their finance function and support strategic decision-making. As Financial Controller, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading the day-to-day finance operations, including month-end and year-end processes Driving technical accounting standards and compliance Preparing insightful financial reports and analysis for senior leadership Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning Managing relationships with auditors and external stakeholders What you'll need to succeed We’re looking for someone with: ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) Strong technical accounting skills Ideally, a first or second mover from practice, ready to take ownership in industry A proactive mindset Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness What you'll get in return Competitive salary and benefits package 25 days holiday  stats Hybrid working Flexible working hours A supportive, forward-thinking leadership team Real autonomy and influence in a growing business
