Maintenance Engineer – Double Days.

Working Hours:

Week 1:
Monday – Thursday, 5:30am to 2:00pm / Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm

Week 2:
Monday – Thursday, 1:30pm to 10:00pm / Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm

This is a unique opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, progressive FMCG manufacturing business who have a long-standing presence in Telford.

This role supports manufacturing through the provision of maintenance engineering activities across all automated production machinery on site. If you are adept at achieving optimisation of plant availability through skilled maintenance engineering practices, this could be for you!

Role Description .

* Provision of both planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of high speed, industrial, automated manufacturing machinery.

* Electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repair activities.

* Stripping down, servicing, repairing and installing new machinery when required.

* PLC Fault Finding.

* Reporting on recurrent faults and helping to share improvement ideas.

* Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion.

* Reporting into the Engineering Manager.

Skills and Qualifications .

* Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering experience – elec/mech skills.

* Formal Mechanical and / or Electrical Qualifications (Level 3+) or Time Served background.

* Strong fault-finding capability.

* Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or other industrial context.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated maintenance engineering team.
