Assembly Fitter

ASSEMBLY FITTER REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

Due to an increase in orders, we are looking for an additional Assembly Fitter to join a well established manufacturing business in Telford, Shropshire.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (45 hours per week), the starting hourly pay rate is up to £13.00 per hour (annual salary just over £30,000 per annum), with future development and progression opportunities available, as well as overtime also being available and paid at premium rate once you've passed a probation period.

The hiring manager would like someone who has some experience within carpentry or joinery, or someone who has previous woodworking / band saw / nail gun experience and may have operated a CNC Wood Routing machine, or similar.

This role could also be a great fit for someone who has previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Electrical Fitter, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Technician who has a passion for working with vehicles.

What You Will Do:

Assemble components into vehicles with precision and attention to detail.
Measure, cut, and install parts using hand and power tools such as spanners and drills.
Work from and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
Complete supporting paperwork to document your work and progress.
Contribute to the team's success by ensuring high-quality standards are met in every task.
What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Strong skills in using hand and power tools effectively and safely.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings with confidence.
A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
A passion for working with vehicles or similar mechanical systems (desirable but not essential).
A Full UK Driving License (Essential)
