Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and execute the Quality Strategic Plan . Drive improvements in key business KPIs, working closely with the local management team. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process capability and reduce scrap, COPQ, and customer concerns. Act as the Manufacturing Systems Expert (MSE) and champion Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA). Own and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D quality management systems.
Lead all customer, certification, and regulatory audits , ensuring full compliance at all times. Promote a zero-defects, right-first-time quality culture across the organisation. Oversee PPAP and FAIR submissions and support APQP and new project launches. Serve as the primary point of contact for customer escalation , building strong collaborative relationships. Train, mentor, and develop employees on quality standards and best practices.
Lead QMS management reviews , identifying opportunities for improvement. Stay up to date with changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements. Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing quality team , owning all quality processes across the function. Experience Essential A strong people leader with a passion for doing the right thing. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills . Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in automotive and/or aerospace manufacturing.
Background working in manufacturing environments with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise work , and thrive under pressure. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D requirements. Experience leading audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and interacting with regulatory bodies. Strong understanding of PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC , and other core quality tools. Desirable Knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems.
Understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 standards.
