Full-time, permanent position based in Telford.

Salary: £27,618 per annum.

Working hours:

4 on 4 off, 6 pm to 6 am.

We have a great opportunity for a Transport Support Operator to join our Telford Transport team. This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team.

• Correctly debrief drivers.
• Check timesheets for correct completion and ensure all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scan and store PODs using Culina's document management system.
• Prepare drivers' wallets and issue delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Print all dispatch notes and replenish dispatch paper as required.
• Answer the telephone and assist with enquiries.
• Download drivers' cards / tachographs.
• Ensure all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently update all spreadsheets, including change‑overs, run summaries and trailer check‑sheets.
• Depart loads using the Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensure all uplifts are dispatched in correct loads.

• Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effective prioritisation of workload to meet deadlines.
• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
