Warehouse Operative

Gap Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client for Twilight Warehouse Operatives to join their team in Donnington Wood, Telford. As a Twilight Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, including heavy lifting, packing, and organising goods in the warehouse. The role involves lifting and moving products, so applicants must be physically fit and comfortable with manual work.

Key Responsibilities as a Twilight Warehouse Operative:

Heavy Lifting & Moving:
Assist with the manual handling of products and materials, ensuring that goods are moved and stored correctly.

Order Picking & Packing:
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring that all items are correctly identified and packaged.

Goods In/Out:
Help with receiving deliveries, unloading goods, and checking inventory levels.

Stock Management:
Keep track of stock levels and assist with the reorganization and replenishment of products.

Health & Safety:
Follow all safety protocols to ensure your well-being and the safety of your colleagues while working with heavy items and warehouse equipment.

Warehouse Maintenance:
Ensure that the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and organized to facilitate smooth operations.

Team

Collaboration:

Work closely with colleagues to meet daily targets and support the overall efficiency of the warehouse.

Skills and Experience as a Twilight Warehouse Operative:

Previous warehouse experience, especially in a role involving manual handling and heavy lifting, is preferred but not essential.

Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads (up to 25kg or more).

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Team-oriented with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
