Up to £27k basic – plus bonus – up to £31.5k potential earnings

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hrs per week

We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join one of our well-established client, who offers a great working environment and a family run feel to the company. They offer good working hours on a day shift. My client is looking for a candidate who is an experienced warehouse operative to work on goods-in and despatch, in a small friendly team supporting the flow of materials to the assembly line.

This is a fast-paced role, you will be very active throughout the day and must be okay with manual handling.

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for:

* Picking, packing and despatching orders

* Scanning goods-in and allocating stock to correct storage areas

* Ensuring daily picking lists are completed the same day

* Working on despatch to ship all orders to meet schedule

* Quality checking orders

* Notify the Warehouse Coordinator / Supervisor of any issues and assisting to resolve

* Driving the forklift

* Work on warehouse KPIs

* Assist with and suggest any improvement projects

* Report any stock discrepancies discovered

* Actively follow health and safety regulations

Skills and Experience required:

* Previously worked in a warehouse environment

* Knowledge of warehouse processes

* Computer literate

* Forklift driving experience would be a benefit but is not essential

* Good attention to detail

* Team player

* This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative / Stores Operative / Goods-in Operative / Despatch Operative
